All payments on Gofted are processed by Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment platforms, used by millions of businesses globally across every major industry.
When you enter your card details at checkout, that information goes directly and securely to Stripe. It never touches Gofted's servers. We cannot see it, store it, or access it.
Stripe holds the highest level of payment security certification. Your card data is protected by the same infrastructure used by the world's largest companies.
We use 3D Secure (the extra verification step from your bank) on all transactions. This protects you against unauthorised use of your card.
Stripe Radar analyses every transaction in real time. Suspicious payments are automatically flagged and blocked before they go through.
Your payment is held securely by Gofted until you confirm your item has arrived in the condition described. The seller only receives their money once you're happy.
If something goes wrong — item not as described, doesn't arrive — you can raise a dispute and we'll hold the funds until it's resolved.
We hold your money in escrow. You get 24 hours after delivery to confirm receipt or raise a problem. Only then does the seller get paid.
We collect only what we need to run the platform — your name, email, and delivery address. We don't sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for anything beyond running Gofted.
